Course Schedule
The Cleantech Institute is held at UC Berkeley over three days. The first day is designed as a primer, elucidating the landscape and state of the Cleantech Industry. Days two and three will give you an in-depth look at policy, innovation, and economics.
Day 1| Policy & Innovation
The Policy & Innovation segment is designed to explain the technology needs within energy and how to design and execute that technology from concept to commercialization within the context of the political and regulatory environment. Day 1 will focus heavily on current policy and its potential impact, as well as real world examples and candid accounts from proven cleantech executives, policy-makers and regulators. Participants will leave Day 1 with a strategic map of the federal, state, and local initiatives.

Day 2 | Innovation & Economics
The Innovation & Economics segment explores the final stages along the path to commercialization and beyond, including partnerships, financing, exit strategies and more. Day 2 will be seen through the lenses of the financier and the challenges of funding a capital intensive industry.
